The author considers functional equations of the form \[ x(t+1)=A(t)x(t)+B(t)x(qt)+F(t), \] where \(A\) and \(B\) are real matrices and \(F\) is a real vector. Particular cases of this equation have been widely studied:{\parindent=0.6cm\begin{itemize}\item[--] when \(A(t)=0\), we find a \(q\)-difference equation, \item[--] when \(B(t)=0\), we find a shift equation. \end{itemize}} It is a classical problem of finding the existence of solutions of such equations in various classes of functions. In the present paper, the author gives several sufficient conditions in order to have continuous bounded real solutions.
