Let \(G\) be a finite group, \(p \in \pi(G)\) and let \(\Sigma_{p}(G)\) be the set of elements whose order is divisible by \(p\) (the \(p\)-singular elements of \(G\)). A complex irreducible character \(\chi\) of \(G\) is \(p\)-constant if there is a constant \(c_{\chi}\) such that \(\chi(g)=c_{\chi}\) for all \(g \in \Sigma_{p}(G)\) (by a result of the author and \textit{A. E. Zalesski} [Rend. Semin. Mat. Univ. Padova 136, 35--50 (2016; Zbl 1390.20007)] the constant \(c_{\chi}\) must be a rational integer). The irreducible characters \(\chi\) of \(p\)-defect zero are precisely the irreducible \(p\)-constant characters with \(c_{\chi}=0\). This paper is devoted to the study of \(\Upsilon_{p}(G)\), the set of irreducible \(p\)-constant characters of \(G\) of non-zero \(p\)-defect, in the case where \(G\) is a finite reflection group. The main result establishes that if \(G\) is a finite reflection group, then, for any \(p \in \pi(G)\) and for any \(\chi \in \Upsilon_{p}(G)\), \(c_{\chi}=\pm 1\). Moreover, \(\Upsilon_{p}(G) \not =\{ 1_{G} \}\) if and only if \(G\) is a dihedral group of order \(2n\) with \(n\) odd (and in this case \(\Upsilon_{p}(G)\) consists of the two linear characters of \(G\)).
