Completions of paratopological groups and bounded sets (Q2407726): Difference between revisions

Let \(H\) be a paratopological group (i.e., multiplication is continuous). Then the Dieudonné completion of the space \(H\) is also the Hewitt realcompactification and admits a natural structure as a paratopological group containing \(H\) as a dense subgroup in any of the following circumstances: \(H\) is \(\mathbb R\)-factorisable and Tychonoff; \(H\) is T\(_3\) and the topological group associated to \(H\) is \(\mathbb R\)-factorisable; \(H\) is Tychonoff, projectively submetrisable and Moscow and has Ulam non-measurable cardinality. Results relating to \(p\)-boundedness (\(p\) a free ultrafilter on \(\omega\)) within a semi- or paratopological group are also presented.
