In this paper, the following quasi-periodic differential equation \[ x'(t) = f(\theta, x(t), \varepsilon x(t-\tau(x(t)))), \theta'(t) = \omega \] is studied, where the delay \(\tau\) is state-dependent. Quasi-periodic solutions are constructed by using the parameterization method and perturbation with the small positive parameter \(\varepsilon\). Under the assumption of exponential dichotomy and some other assumptions for the unperturbed system (with \(\varepsilon =0\)) corresponding to hyperbolicity, and with the application of a contraction mapping theorem, an efficient and direct way is provided to show the existence and regularities of finitely differentiable solutions. Further, it indicates that the method can be adapted to equations with several state-dependent delays and some other more complicated problems.
