This paper studies an action functional motivated from the supersymmetric nonlinear sigma model of quantum field theory. From a geometrical point of view this functional consists of the energy for harmonic maps coupled to spinor fields in a nonlinear manner. The considered target for Dirac-harmonic maps and Dirac-harmonic maps with curvature term is a spherical one and a conservation law is obtained. The last section deals with conservation laws for targets with Killing vector fields.
