An important projector, known as oblique projector, has been investigated in different settings, e.g., infinite- and finite-dimensional vector spaces over either the complex or the real Euclidean space. But known results are valid only under the assumption of the nonsingularity of certain functions of the involved projectors. The authors reproduce known results in a more generalized and extended form working in a new setting, obtained by making a transition from the complex Euclidean space to the Minkowski space over the same field. This transition allows the authors to go from a definite inner product space to an indefinite inner product space. Furthermore, this enables the authors to use \(m\)-projections instead of orthogonal projections and the Minkowski inverse instead of the ordinary inverse.
