The paper under review deals with approximate solutions of Fredholm fuzzy integral equations of the second kind. The quasi-interpolation of the solution is based on radial basis functions [\textit{Z. Wu} and \textit{R. Schaback}, Acta Math. Appl. Sin., Engl. Ser. 10, No. 4, 441--446 (1994; Zbl 0822.41025)]. By discretization, the fuzzy integral equation is converted into a system of fuzzy linear equations which leads to approximate solutions. The approximation error is estimated using the Hausdorff distance for fuzzy numbers. The method is illustrated by three numerical examples.
