The authors establish an integral representation of the \(k\)th projection functions on a flag manifold, generalizing the well-known integral formulas for projections \((k=d-1)\) and Ambartzumian's formulas for width functions \((k=1)\). In the first part, Ambartzumian's method is exploited in projection functions for a class of polytopes; however, it fails to extend to arbitrary convex bodies. The second and main part resolves this problem by creating a flag measure which satisfies a local Steiner formula and hence extending continuously to convex bodies.
