The authors formulate a theorem on the possibility of a prescribed-rate approximation of functions from Hölder classes on countable unions of segments by entire functions. This theorem is proved in [the authors, Vestn. St. Petersbg. Univ., Math. 50, No. 1, 35--43 (2017; Zbl 1382.41007); translation from Vestn. St-Peterbg. Univ., Ser. I, Mat. Mekh. Astron. 62, No. 1, 53--63 (2017)].
