This article concerns the continuity of exponential attractors for perturbed dissipative PDEs. The novelty here is that the perturbation is a time discretization (see [\textit{M. Efendiev} et al., C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I, Math. 330, No. 8, 713--718 (2000; Zbl 1151.35315)] for the standard result). The family of exponential attractors \(\{\mathcal{M}\}_\tau\) is indexed by the time step \(\tau\). The problem under consideration is the generalized Allen-Cahn equation. Here, the author shows that \(\mathcal{M}_\tau\rightarrow\mathcal{M}_0\) (in the Hausdorff distance with respect to the topology of the phase space) as \(\tau\rightarrow 0\). In addition, every \(\mathcal{M}_\tau\) possesses finite fractal dimension, bounded uniformly of the perturbation parameter \(\tau\).
