A new model of two-species discrete ratio-dependent predator-prey system is studied. Existence and local asymptotic stability of the equilibria of the system under consideration are proved. To do this the authors apply linear approximation method. New sufficient conditions for the global stability of positive equilibria of the system are obtain by means of the iterative scheme method.
