This is a sequel to the trilogy on tempered representations with unipotent reduction on \(\mathrm{SO}(2n+1)\) (see [the author, J. Lie Theory 28, No. 2, 381--426 (2018; Zbl 1416.22019); Nagoya Math. J. 233, 87--154 (2019; Zbl 1415.22013); Algebra Number Theory 12, No. 5, 1107--1171 (2018; Zbl 1416.22020)]). Let \(G\) be the special orthogonal group \(\mathrm{SO}(2n+1)\) defined over a \(p\)-adic field \(F\). Let \(\pi\) be an admissible irreducible representation of \(G(F)\) which is tempered and of unipotent reduction. The author proves that \(\pi\) has a wave front set. Previously in [loc. cit.] it was shown that the Aubert-Zelevinsky involution of \(\pi\) has a wave front. The proof of the theorem gives a precise description of the wave front for the case \(\pi\) parametrized by a quadruple \((\lambda^+,\epsilon^+,\lambda^-,\epsilon^-)\) where \(\lambda^{\pm}\) are partitions of \(2n^{\pm}\) consisting of even integers only, and \(\epsilon^{\pm}\) are plus minus signs associated to the integers in the partition. The fact that this subset of \(\pi\) has wave front is enough to deduce the theorem for all representations that are tempered and of unipotent reduction. Though the paper is a sequel, with the author's presentation style it is accessible without reading the prior trilogy. The exposition contains detailed description of prior results and clear explanation of the new ingredients.
