The paper provides a study of a theoretical approximation method for a class of nonlinear Fredholm equations. The approach is based on an iterative scheme that makes use of majorizing sequence techniques and the Newton-Kantorovich theorem. The analysis is relatively deep; it includes questions regarding the existence and the uniqueness of the solution as well as numerical examples.
