Let \(H\) be a complex Hilbert space. A~conjugation \(C\) on \(H\) is a mapping satisfying \(C^{2}=I\) and \(\langle Cx,Cy\rangle=\langle y,x\rangle\) for all \(x,y\in H\). A~new motivation to study conjugations comes from the study of complex symmetric operators, which have recently been intensively studied, an important reference on this topic being [\textit{S. R. Garcia} and \textit{M. Putinar}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 358, No. 3, 1285--1315 (2006; Zbl 1087.30031)]. The article under review is a continuation of [\textit{C. Câmara} et al., ``Asymmetric truncated Toeplitz operators and conjugations'', Filomat 33, No. 12, 3697--3710 (2019; \url{doi:10.2298/FIL1912697C})]. The commutative conjugations \(C\) with \(M_{z}\) are called \(M_{z}\)-commuting. The first result of the present article is a complete characterization of \(M_{z}\)-commuting conjugations. Using this characterization, the authors show that there are no \(M_{z}\)-conjugations in \(L^{2}\) which preserve \(H^{2}\). Next, they discuss conjugations preserving model spaces. Finally, they discuss conjugations intertwining truncated shifts.
