The authors consider matrix electromagnetic Schrödinger operators of the form \[ H_{\mathrm S} (A, \mathbf{V}) := - \nabla_A^2 I_{\mathbb{C}^n} + \mathbf{V} \] in \(L^2 (\mathbb{R}^d; \mathbb{C}^n)\) with \(\mathbf{V} : \mathbb{R}^d \to \mathbb{C}^{n \times n}\), where \(\nabla_A := \nabla + i A\) with \(A : \mathbb{R}^d \to \mathbb{R}^d\) is the magnetic gradient; here \(d \geq 1\) and \(n \geq 1\) are arbitrary. They provide sufficient conditions on \(\mathbf{V}\) and \(A\) under which the point spectrum of \(H_{\mathrm S} (A, \mathbf{V})\) is empty, that is, the operator neither has discrete nor embedded eigenvalues. Moreover, they derive corresponding results for Pauli and Dirac operators in any space dimensions. The results are based on an extension of the so-called method of multipliers.
