Subspaces of the projective space formed by the forms of degree 2 are called linear systems; if these linear systems have dimension \(2\), they are called nets. The authors complete the classification of nets of conics of rank one in Desarguesian planes over finite fields of odd order begun by \textit{A. H. Wilson} [Am. J. Math. 36, 187--210 (1914; JFM 45.0228.01)]. This is done by solving the equivalent problem of classifying the orbits of planes in \(\mathrm{PG}(5,q)\) which meet the quadric Veronesean in at least one point under the action of \(\mathrm{PGL}(3,q) \leq\mathrm{PGL}(6,q)\) for \(q\) odd.
