The authors provide off-diagonal estimates of the Bergman kernel associated to tensor-powers of the cotangent bundle defined on a hyperbolic Riemann surface of finite volume, when the distance between the points is less than the injectivity radius. The result is obtained by refining the arguments from a previous article of the authors, where a similar result was obtained under the assumption that the distance between the points is greater than the injectivity radius. As an application, the authors use these results to obtain estimates of the Bergman kernel on the diagonal. For Part I, see [the authors, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 146, No. 9, 4009--4020 (2018; Zbl 1407.30022)].
