Multidimensional matrix inversions and elliptic hypergeometric series on root systems (Q2217965): Difference between revisions

This paper presents three new multidimensional matrix inversions to study elliptic hypergeometric series. A new elliptic Jackson summation as well as several quadratic, cubic and quartic summation formulas are also obtained. The goal o this paper is to generalize an inversion formula to be both multidimensional and elliptic, so that it can be applied to multiple elliptic hypergeometric series. In section four this paper contains applications to summation formulas for elliptic hypergeometric series on root systems. In section two the paper discusses Theta functions, and a new terminology is proposed, also the elliptic hypergeometric series is presented in detail. Section three talks about elliptic multidimensional matrix inversions with a detailed discussion through theorems, lemmas and remarks with proofs. In section four, applications to elliptic hypergeometric series, new different summations are proved using the developed results. The paper concludes with acknowledgements and references.
