Let \(f\) be a complex-valued function and let \(F\) be an integral operator defined by \[ Ff(y)=\int_0^\infty s(x) \,f(x)\,K(x,y)\,dx, \, y>0, \] where \(K\) is a continuous kernel and \(s\) is a nonnegative nondecreasing function such that \(s(x)\lesssim s(2x), \, x>0\). Then \(F\) is said to be the generalized Fourier-type transform if there exists a nonnegative nondecreasing function \(w\) such that \(s(x)\,w(1/x)\asymp 1, \, x>0\) and the estimate \(|K(x,y)|\lesssim \min\{1, (s(x)\,w(y))^{-1/2}\}, \, x, y>0\) holds. For more details on Fourier-type transforms, one may see [\textit{D. Gorbachev} et al., Indiana Univ. Math. J. 67, No. 5, 1949--2003 (2018; Zbl 1410.42013)]. The transforms with power-type kernels are defined by \[ Ff(y)=y^{c_0} \int_0^\infty x^{b_0}\,f(x)\,K(x,y)\,dx, \] where \(|K(x,y)|\lesssim \min\{x^{b_1}y^{c_1},\, x^{b_2}y^{c_2}\}\), with \(b_j,c_j\in\mathbb{R}\) for \(0\le j\le 2\). Note that if \(s(x)=x^\delta,\, \delta\in\mathbb{R}\), then the generalized Fourier-type transform reduces to the transform with power-type kernel. However, the converse is not true. In this paper, the author gives necessary and sufficient conditions on above mentioned two different kinds of integral transforms for the weighted norm inequality \[ \|w^{1/a^{\prime}}\,Ff\|_{q,u}\lesssim \|s^{1/a}f\|_{p,v} \] to hold, for any \(1\le a\le \infty\) with \(a^{\prime}=a/(a-1)\) is the dual exponent of \(a\) and \(1<p\le q<\infty\). These necessary and sufficient conditions are given in terms of weights \(u\) and \(v\) which satisfies certain conditions, but not in terms of their decreasing rearrangements, as in several previous investigations.
