After a six-page survey of notions from linear algebra, the author proposes a generalization of generalized scalar products and of inward powers by replacing the implicit unit metric vector \((1,1,\ldots, 1)^T\) by an arbitrary vector \(\mathbf{m}\). In this manner one obtaines so-called \textit {metricized} versions of the usual linear algebra notions. Their usefulness is tested on some practical examples, such as least squares. There are no theorems in this paper.
