The authors use palindrome presentations of the fundamental groups of the complements of some families of two-bridge links to determine their character variety in the oriented 3-sphere. Moreover, they give a simple geometrical description of such varieties and determine the number of their irreducible components. The method that has been proposed in this paper is different from the methods that have been used by other authors.
