The authors study the Alexandrov-Fenchel type inequalities in the sphere. The topic of the Alexandrov-Fenchel inequalities for the quermassintegrals of convex domains in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) is very interesting and it has received the attention of many geometers. In this paper the authors prove this inequalities for an embedded, closed, connected and convex \(C^2\)-hypersurfaces in the sphere \(\mathbb{S}^{n+1}\). The principal result is the following theorem: \textbf{Theorem.} Let \(M\) be an embedded, closed, connected and convex \(C^2\)-hypersurface in \(\mathbb{S}^{n+1}\), then the following inequality holds, \[ \mathcal{A}_k(\Omega)\geq \xi_{k,k-2}(\mathcal{A}_{k-2}(\Omega))\quad, 1\leq k\leq n-1, \] where \(\mathcal{A}_k\) is the quermassintegral and \(\xi_{k,k-2}\) is the unique positive function defined on \((0, s_{k-2})\) such that the equality holds when \(M\) is a geodesic sphere. The equality holds if and only if \(M\) is a geodesic sphere.
