In this paper, the authors consider the following Fučík eigenvalue problem \[ -u^{\prime\prime}(x)=\alpha u^{+}(x)-\beta u^{-}(x) \text{ in }(0,\pi), \] \[ u^{\prime}(0)=u^{\prime}(\pi)=0, \] where \(\alpha\), \(\beta\in\mathbb{R}\) are spectral parameters and \(u^{\pm}:=\max\left\{ \pm u,0\right\} \) are the positive and negative parts of \(u\) so that \(u=u^{+}-u^{-}\). The authors deal with the basis properties of sequences of Fučík eigenfunctions of the problem and their corresponding biorthogonal system. They show that any such sequence is complete in \(L^{2}(0,\pi)\) and a Riesz basis in this space.
