The author begins with an outline of the history of the proof of the Bieberbach conjecture and its subsequent simplifications. In \textit{L. Weinstein's} proof of the Milin conjecture [The Bieberbach conjecture, Int. Math. Res. Not. 1991, No. 5, 61-64 (1991; Zbl 0743.30019)], the explicit form of the coefficients of a certain Taylor expansion is not known. In this paper, the author finds the explicit form of these coefficients. This (together with an inequality due to Askey and Gasper and the Weinstein functions) leads to a proof of the Milin conjecture, and from there to the Robertson conjecture and the Bieberbach conjecture. The author concludes that the proof by de Branges and Weinstein's proof of the Milin conjecture are really the same.
