In conformal field theory an important role is played by the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov differential equation. From the mathematical point of view its importance comes from the fact that the equation is satisfied by the matrix elements of intertwiners between tensor products of certain affine Kac-Moody algebras. Certain hypergeometric type integrals give solutions to the equation. There is a \(q\)-analogue of this correspondence. \textit{I. Frenkel} and \textit{N. Reshetikhin} [Commun. Math. Phys. 146, 1--60 (1992; Zbl 0760.17006)] introduced a system of \(q\)-difference equations, called the quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation. Jackson integrals are \(q\)- analogues (discrete) of the usual integrals and Jackson integrals of Jordan-Pochhammer type are generalizations of the classical hypergeometric integrals. In the article under review, the author gives explicitly solutions to a certain class of quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations for \(U_q(\widehat{{\mathfrak s}{\mathfrak l}}_2)\) by Jackson integrals of Jordan-Pochhammer type. The \(q\)-difference equation for these integrals can be written in terms of a trigonometric quantum \(R\)-matrix. When \(q\) goes to 1, the expressions of solutions go to the integral solutions of the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation given by \textit{I. Cherednik} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 27, 727--744 (1991; Zbl 0753.17036)].
