The author shows that the Calderón-Lozanovskiĭ construction \(\phi(\cdot)\) commutes with arbitrary mixed norm spaces, that is \[ \phi(E_{0}[F_{0}],E_{1}[F_{1}])=\phi(E_{0},E_{1})[\phi(F_{0},F_{1})] \] if and only if \(\phi\) is equivalent to a power function. As an application, we mention only the following Theorem. Let \(L_{M}[L_{N}]\) be a reflexive mixed norm Orlicz space. If \(T\) is a linear or sublinear bounded operator on \(L_{p}[L_{q}]\) for all \(1<p,q<\infty,\) then \(T\) is defined and bounded on \(L_{M}[L_{N}].\)
