A new optimization method used for shape optimization problems (especially in frequency response problem for both the optimal layout and reinforcement of an elastic structure) is proposed. According to this method, the structure becomes optimal in size, shape and topology. The algorithm presented is developed using the convex approximation approach and dual method. Due to the principles of the method, this work can be considered as a reference work in the field of the structural optimization technique.
