For a finite group \(G\), \textit{J. Słomińska} [Fundam. Math. 140, 1-30 (1991; Zbl 0812.55004)] has developed a spectral sequence in Bredon cohomology. Given a group \(G\) and some two different families of subgroups of \(G\) the author develops two spectral sequences (in terms of Bredon (co)homology) converging to the (co)homology groups of \(G\). Then some bounds for the (co)homological dimension of \(G\) are derived. Next the existence of a Lyndon-Hochschild-Serre spectral sequence associated to a normal subgroup \(N\triangleleft G\) is shown and further consequences deduced as well.
