In an M/G/1-queueing system with finite workload capacity a customer is rejected provided he would increase with his service time the workload of the system beyond its capacity. Various results in the form of integral and differential equations on the transient and the stationary distributions of workload and busy period are given. In the special cases of M/M/1 and of M/D/1 queues the authors obtain explicit solutions.
