The authors consider the two-dimensional magnetic Schrödinger operator given by \[ H= \left({\frac{1}{i}\frac{\partial}{{\partial x_1}}- x_2}\right)^2+ \left({\frac{1}{i}\frac{\partial}{{\partial x_2}}+ x_1}\right)^2+V, \] in the space \(L_{2}(\mathbb R^{2})\), where \(V\) is a real-valued potential. When \(V=0\), the spectrum is just a point and every eigenvalues are of infinite multiplicity. The eigenspaces are explicitely given with the help of orthogonal polynomials. Proceeding like Fazullin and Murtazin and under the hypothesis that \(V\in C^2_0(\mathbb R^{2})\), the following trace formula: \[ \sum_{k=0}^\infty \left(\sum_{i=-k}^\infty (4k+2-\mu_k)+c_0 \right)= \frac{1}{8\pi} \int_{\mathbb R^{2}} V^2(x)\, dx \] is established, where \(c_0=\pi^{-1}\int_{\mathbb R^{2}} V(x)\) and \(\mu_k^{(i)}\) are the eigenvalues of \(H\).
