Whereas the body manifold \(M_ 0\) (interpreted as space-time) in a supermanifold M is not globally imbedded in general a local immersion can always be achieved. But this is not canonical and it is shown that two infinitesimally different local injections give rise to generalized supersymmetries which do not change the action integral over \(M_ 0\).
