Let \(A_ 0\) be an operator on \(H=L_ 2[0,\infty)\) represented in the form \[ (A_ 0g)(x)=g(x)-\int_ 0^ \infty k(x,y)g(y)dy \] and let us suppose that \(k(x,y)\) is such that \(H=\ker A_ 0\oplus\hbox {im}A_ 0\). For \(T>0\) we define an operator \(\Pi_ T: H\to H\) by the equality \[ \Pi_ T f(x)=f(x)\hbox { if } x\in[0,T]\hbox { and } =0\hbox { if } x>T. \] Let \(h\in H\). The author investigates the behaviour of the solutions of the equations \[ \Pi_ T A_ 0 \Pi_ T f=\Pi_ T h, \] when \(T\) tends to infinity.
