    L'article apporte une contribution sur une variété compacte \(D\) à courbure constante \(-1\) à l'étude asymptotique de la fonction \(\pi_ D(x)\) représentant le nombre de géodésiques fermées primitives de longueur supérieure ou égale à \(x\). Essentiellement \(D\) possède ici un bord non vide; les géodésiques sont alors distinguées suivant que leur nombre d'intersection avec le bord \(\pi_ 0(x)\), \(\pi_ p(x)\), \(\pi_ i(x)\) est nul, pair ou impair. L'auteur définit une surface \(S_{\infty}\) et son exposant de Poincaré \(\delta_{\infty}\). On a, en particulier, le résultat: \[ \pi_ p(x)\sim \pi_ i(x)\sim e^{x/2x}\text{ et } \pi_ 0(x)\sim e^{\delta_{\infty}x}/\delta_{\infty}x\text{ si } x\to +\infty. \] Les démonstrations utilisent le matériel d'analyse de la théorie de Selberg.
