The author describes a few simple examples when the known solution can be approximated analytically by a sum of terms defined in accordance with a recurrent relation. The choice of the recurrent scheme and the study of convergence of the series is an open problem. It should be noted that there are well-known results dealing with appropriate expansions, for example, for problems with a small parameter.
