The paper under review is devoted to the study of formal deformations of families of differential graded algebras in the category of minimal \(A_\infty\)-algebras in the sense [\textit{A. A. Sharapov} and \textit{E. D. Skvortsov}, ``On deformations of \(A_\infty\)-algebras'', J. Phys. A 52, No. 47, 475--203 (2019); \textit{M. Penkava} and \textit{A. Schwarz}, Transl., Ser. 2, Am. Math. Soc. 169, 91--107 (1995; Zbl 0863.17017)]. Given a one-parameter family, the authors construct a minimal \(A_\infty\)-algebra \(A\) in terms of the cocycle determined by the set of appropriated elements from the Hochschild cohomology groups \(HH^n(A)\). Their approach is elementary; it is based on the notion of the Gerstenhaber algebra structure on the \(A_\infty\)-cohomology that can be expressed in terms of the brace operations introduced in (see [\textit{T. V. Kadeishvili}, Tr. Tbilis. Mat. Inst. Razmadze 91, 19--27 (1988; Zbl 0717.55011)]). Among other things, they also show that the solutions of the equation \({a\cdot a=0}\), \(a\in A\), can be deformed to a Maurer-Cartan element of the minimal \(A_\infty\)-algebra. As an example, a minimal \(A_\infty\)-algebra from the Weyl-Moyal \(\ast\)-product algebra of polynomial functions is constructed explicitly.
