It is shown that the completion of a locally \(A\)-convex algebra \((E, \tau)\), with respect to the associated \(m\)-convex topology \(m(\tau)\) is always a locally \(A\)-convex algebra contained in the complete locally convex space obtained from \((E, \tau)\). The topology \(m(\tau)\) is also used to characterize locally boundedly multiplicatively convex algebras among locally \(A\)-convex ones.
