The problem of scheduling jobs in an \(m\)-machine job shop is considered. A disjunctive graph model for the problem representation is used. The author studies the influence of problem parameters (mainly operation processing times) on the stability of an optimal directed graph resulting from the disjunctive graph and corresponding to an optimal schedule. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability are given for the case of schedule length criterion.
