In the note a number of results concerning measurable one-dimensional dynamics are announced. The detailed proofs are published in ``Algebra and Analysis'', v. 1, No.1 (1989) and ``Commun. Math. Phys. 127, No.3, 573-583 (1990). Let f: [0,1]\(\to [0,1]\) be a map with negative Schwarzian derivative and non-degenerate critical points. Let B be the set of points whose orbits do not converge to limit cycles. The following results are established: 1) \(f| B\) has finitely many ergodic components. Each component coincides with the realm of attraction rl(A) of some measure-theoretical attractor A. 2) The restriction of f onto any attractor A is conservative. 3) \(f| B\) has no strongly wandering sets of positive measure. 4) The measure of any Feigenbaum-like attractor is equal to zero. The authors can get rid of the negative Schwarzian derivative condition.
