Based on a geometric analysis of spinors, the author constructs several classes of scale invariant field-theoretic models involving fermionic matter fields and the gravitational field. These are invariant with respect to the internal group \(\text{GL}(2,\mathbb{C})\) acting on spinors and homomorphic to the linear conformal group acting on tetrads. In such models Dirac bispinors are coupled to gravitational bitetrads, and gravitational degrees of freedom are described by the bitetrads subject to a \(\text{GL}(2,\mathbb{C})\) spinor connection.
