The author surveys some results on scaling and the related singular limit in the equations of continuum fluid mechanics. Mainly, the author introduces an admissible domain, and discusses the singular limit process from the scaled Navier-Stokes-Fourier system in a three-dimensional admissible domain, supplemented with Navier slip boundary condition and no-flux condition for the total energy, to the limit Euler-Boussinesq system as the Mach number tends to zero.
