The present paper deals with the filling minimality of simple Finsler manifolds that is, a Finsler manifold \((M,F)\) is called \textit{minimal filling} (for the Finsler volume) if \(\text{vol}_{\widetilde{F}}(\widetilde{M})\geq\text{vol}_{F}(M)\) holds for all oriented Finsler manifolds \((\widetilde{M},\widetilde{F})\) with \(\partial\widetilde{M}=\partial M\) and \(\text{dist}_{\widetilde{F}}(y,z)\geq\text{dist}_{F}(y,z)\) for every \(y,z\in\partial M\), where \(\text{vol}\) denotes the Holmes-Thompson (symplectic) volume. It states a formula for the difference of the Holmes-Thompson volumes of two simple Finsler manifolds of arbitrary dimension, in terms of the difference of the boundary distances and their derivatives. Also, as an application, a conditioned result on filling minimality is given.
