The paper studies travelling wave solutions for a system of singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion equations. It investigates existence and stability of front and back waves in the bi-stable case. For certain critical parameter values pulse waves are shown to bifurcate from the front and back waves. The individual steps are explained by comprehensible figures explaining the geometric motivation and all results are given by analytic formulas.
