Error of the finite element approximation for a differential eigenvalue problem with nonlinear dependence on the spectral parameter (Q2304612): Difference between revisions

This paper generalizes well-known results for eigenvalue problems with linear dependence on the spectral parameter and develop the findings obtained in [\textit{S. I. Solov'ev}, Differ. Equ. 50, No. 7, 947--954 (2014; Zbl 1308.65130); translation from Differ. Uravn. 50, No. 7, 955--962 (2014)]. The variational eigenvalue problem is approximated by the mesh scheme of the finite element method on the uniform grid. For constructing the mesh scheme, Lagrangian finite elements of arbitrary order are applied.
