Multimethod algorithms involving numerical optimal control methods are proposed for optimal control problems with terminal conditions without control constraints, ones with a free right trajectory end and with control constraints, and optimization problems with parameters and parameter and control constraints. They are shown to outperform their existing counterparts from the literature, and this is illustrated by numerical experiments on involved real-world problems.
