    Der Autor beschäftigt sich mit einer Klasse numerischer Verfahren zur Lokalisation der Nullstellen eines Polynoms bezüglich der linken Halbebene oder des Einheitskreises, welche die Verfahren von Routh- Hurwitz bzw. Schur-Cohn verallgemeinern. Es werden gewisse Hermitesche Matrizen H konstruiert, deren Eigenwerte im allgemeinen die gleiche Lage haben wie die Nullstellen des Polynoms. Die wichtige Voraussetzung für das Funktionieren des Verfahrens, daß nämlich H nichtsingulär ist, muß wohl jeweils numerisch überprüft werden; sie wird leider auch nur außerhalb der beiden Theoreme formuliert.
