Exact non-singular waves in the anti-de Sitter universe (Q5947446): Difference between revisions

A class of exact solutions to the Einstein equations of type \(N\) with negative cosmological constant and a pure radiation field is presented. The solutions can be interpreted as gravitational waves with regular, homogeneous wavefronts propagating in an anti-de Sitter universe. Geodesics and geodesic deviation are studied. The global structure of the spacetimes and Sandwich waves in an anti-de Sitter spacetime are discussed.
