In the first paper in this series [ibid. 203, No. 3, 503-526 (1990; Zbl 0698.57009)], the authors gave a very general definition of equivariant surgery obstruction groups. In this paper the authors discuss several results concerning these groups which were previously proved for the less general surgery obstruction groups. In Section 2 of their paper they show a direct sum decomposition of this surgery obstruction group if the acting group is of odd order [see also the reviewer and \textit{M. Rothenberg}, ``Equivariant surgery and classification of finite group actions on manifolds'', Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 71, No. 379 (1988; Zbl 0645.57002)]. In section 3 they prove the existence of an exact Rothenberg sequence which compares \(L^ s\)-theory for simple equivariant homotopy equivalences and \(L^ h\)-theory for equivariant homotopy equivalences (compare also the computation of the torsion obstruction given by the reviewer [Am. J. Math. 111, No. 6, 851-904 (1989; Zbl 0694.57020]). Finally, in Section 4 the authors consider the Sullivan-Wall surgery exact sequence [compare the reviewer and \textit{T. Petrie}, ``\(G\) Surgery. II'', Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 37, No. 260 (1982; Zbl 0495.57014), and the reviewer and \textit{M. Rothenberg}, loc. cit.]. For a general comparison of the Lück-Madsen theory and equivariant surgery theories by other authors see the reviewer and \textit{R. Schultz}, ``Equivariant surgery theories and their periodicity properties'' (Lect. Notes Math. 1443) (1990; Zbl 0712.57001).
