This paper studies the numerical stability of nonlinear delay differential equations from the viewpoint of one-leg methods with linear interpolation. It is shown that if these methods are \(A\)-stable or strongly \(A\)-stable in the non-delay case then they will be similarly stable in the delay case. Of course the order of such methods is bounded by \(2\).
