    S, T seien kompakte Hausdorffräume. Eine lineare Abbildung A: \({\mathcal C}(T)\to {\mathcal C}(S)\) heißt separierend, wenn für \(x,y\in {\mathcal C}(T)\) mit \(x\cdot y=0\) gilt \(Ax\cdot Ay=0\). Unter gewissen Zusatzbedingungen an T bzw. A wird gezeigt, daß A automatisch stetig ist.
