The author determines the Green's functions for three-dimensional elastic solids of general anisotropy in the static case. By means of an integral representation technique and an application of the residue calculus, explicit expressions are obtained for elastic fields due to a point source. Additionally, the author obtains relatively simple expressions for the integration of derivatives of the displacements along a line or a surface. The results can be useful for the implementation of the boundary element method applied to general anisotropic elastic solids.
